Rossina Gallegos is the Vice President and Foundation/Community Outreach Officer for Union Bank. Rossina facilitates and manages the charitable contributions and Foundation requests in LA and Orange Counties. She also implements strategies, tactics, and programs to maximize the talent and availability of Union Bank employees with the needs of low- and moderate-income communities. Rossina’s community outreach efforts heighten Union Bank’s presence to address Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act commitment, public image opportunities, and employees’ desire for engagement.
Rossina joined Union Bank in 1981, serving in various positions including small business lending, problem loan restructuring, and management of the Hispanic Segment market for five years as it relates to marketing and business penetration.
Rossina is active with numerous civic and community organizations. She serves as Chairman of the Board of the artworxLA, the Executive Board of the Weingart East Los Angeles YMCA, the Board of Trustees of St. Anne’s, and the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Music and Arts Center. She is also on the Advisory Board of the National Hispanic Business Women Association, the Rancho Satiago Small Business Development Venter, and the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts.
Rossina holds a BA in Business Administration from Colegio Europeo from Guatemala City, and an AA with emphasis in Accounting from LA City College. She has also received formal training in baking through the American Bankers Association and other reputable institutions.
